Law of Attraction and Lag Time

When you are using the law of attraction (LOA) to manifest things in your life and you’re not getting results as quick as you like or at all there could be a lot of reasons for this. Trying to manifest things instantly isn’t going to happen. I’m not saying it can’t be done, just that I’ve haven’t seen or heard of it being done lately. When trying to manifest things in your life you have to allow for some lag time from the time you put your desire out there until the time you see a result. The universe wasn’t formed in a day. Our planet is estimated to be several billion years old by itself. Since there is “always” going to be some lag time from the time you put out a desire until the time you have it, there are several things you can do to help speed things along. First is the fact that you are going to have to allow the “Universe” to do its thing on its schedule. Even on “Extreme Home Makeover” it still takes a week to put up a house. There are some things you just can’t rush. Writing your desire down is extremely important. By doing this you implant your desire in the part of your brain called the “Reticular Activating System” (RAS). The “RAS” will now be on the lookout for anything that pertains to your desire and will help you notice them. It has been proven that writing something down greatly outperforms just thinking or talking about it. Another key point is being aware of your emotions. By being aware of your emotions you will have a better sense of how much you’re allowing or resisting your connection to your Source. Feeling better allows a better connection to your source than feeling bad does. The art of feeling better is a matter of focus. If you’re so focused on the problem it will only make you feel worse. It you’re focused on looking for a solution you will feel better and shorten the time it takes to manifest things in your life. So remember all good things take time. I remember hearing a quote when I was growing up that went like this “Gods delays are not Gods denials”. If things aren’t happening as quick as you would like them, take a check of your emotions and make sure YOU are not the problem. Hope this helps Donald Allen
